General Information of "Spiral: The Book of Saw": 

     For this assignment my teammate and I had to conduct research on a movie of our picking. For our movie we choose Spiral: The Book of Saw. We chose this movie because it was a thriller/horror and genre we want to use for our 2-mintue film opening is a thriller. There are five different sections to this gerne case study PowerPoint. In section 1, which was my part of the assignment I gave general information about the movie such as the title, the tagline, and a brief summary of it. I also had to define a few words and list the characters and who their played by, and their roles.

Roland Barthes' Theory of Semiotics       Ronald Barthes was a French literary theorist, essayist, philosopher, citric, and semiotician. His ideas explored a diverse range of fields, and he influenced the development of many schools of theory, including structuralism, social theory and semiotics.
