Welcome to My AICE Media Studies Blog!

Hello, my name is Brianna, and I am a 12th grader at Piper High School. Media Studies means to me a field of study that has to deal with the history, effects, and content of various media, in particular mass media. My favorite film genre is horror. Therefore, I am excited to say that the genre for my 2-mintue film opening will be horror. The things that I find most interesting in media studies is how industries use mass media to attract different people.

I hope to learn and accomplish many things while I am enrolled in this class. Things such as, how to create my own film and the different camera angles needed to make my film opening a success! I cannot wait to take all of the necessary steps to complete my film opening with my teammates. I want to accomplish learning how to properly consider and analyze examples from existing media, and I am ecstatic that I will be able to document all of my progress here!
